Celebrate 100 years of Bentley with Limited Edition Luxury Furniture

When Bentley’s founder W.O. Bentley created the first prototype for his car in 1919, he began a legendary brand that still embodies exquisite craftsmanship 100 years later.

As part of the centenary celebrations, Bentley Motors have launched a limited edition range of furniture. Created by Bentley Design, a hundred pieces of each item is being produced by Bentley Home, bearing the special Bentley Centenary logo etched into the gold plated ironwork.

As with all Bentley motor cars, the three new pieces in the Home collection are inspired by the brand’s core values of dedication to design, the use of the highest quality materials and attention to manufacturing detail.

The three piece hand crafted collection comprises of a desk, chair and matching footstool. All incorporate dark stained oak brushed with liquid gold, the colour of opulence and elegance that just like the motor cars, never goes out of fashion. The innovative design is sure to complement any contemporary interior. In fact it wouldn’t look out of place in a Bond villian’s lair!

Although Crewe is home to of all of Bentley’s operations, including the production of the Contintental, Flying Spur, Bentayga and Mulsanne, built using skills handed down by generations, they chose to have the furniture made in Italy. This may be due to the Bentley Home collections being curated by Luxury Living Group, owned by an Italian Company. The launch was held at the Milan Salon Del Mobile, the luxury Italian furniture fair.
